The Blood is a period tracking application developed by a solo indie developer. Your health data is deeply personal — that's why this app doesn't collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.
All data you enter into The Blood — including period dates and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We have no servers, no databases, no analytics, and no way to access your information.
We collect none of the following:
The Blood uses Google Fonts to display custom typefaces. Font files may be downloaded from Google's servers on first use. No personal or health data is shared with this service — only standard font files are fetched. No other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks are used. No data is shared with anyone.
The app offers import and export functionality to let you back up your data as a JSON file. These files are created and read locally on your device. They are never uploaded to any server by the app.
Since all data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. There is nothing to delete on our end because we never had your data.
The Blood does not collect data from anyone. Period tracking is deeply personal, and this app is built with that in mind — everything stays on your device, private and under your control.
If we ever update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Our core commitment — that your data stays on your device — will not change.
